Skinhead kid
One row in front of me
The bus headed downtown
A straight razor tattoo above his left eye
Accentuates the curvature of his eyebrow
I’ll never know why he has it
It’s tough looking
I wouldn’t fuck with him
There is a beautiful girl beside him
Affection
Love lies beneath beds of stone
Or maybe the stone is soft
And the razor blade is nothing
The OLTD to Downtown
Each stop reveals more people
Early morning
It is easy to tell
Who is happy and who thought about eating the gun
Last night
Or the night before
Work gets to people you know
Exit the bus
I walk down 14 Street
Government buildings
Frost on the leaves
And a little snow on the ground
A row of tarps on the sidewalk
Bodies beneath them
They all look dead
Occupy
