Something’s in the air

Something’s In The Air
By Josh Madsen

Something’s in the air

Our town seems much more melancholy

Minor chords and tears are shedding

The parents have made the children cry

Whose to blame for the sad music

Expressions are growing more aggressive

Soothing their writhing hearts through discordantly screams

You are not the only one that’s hurt

Whose to say one’s wounds are worse

They come in all shapes and sizes and at times our eyes cannot see

Never gauge our afflictions

Never pride ourselves in depression

You think that there’s a tragedy in someone else’s eyes

Aren’t you wondering how you escaped from it unscathed

Wait patiently for your time will come

Who are you screaming for?

Recognition or something more…

Intentions in one direction

Sincerity or Self Doubt….
