Good Pow

Utah has been getting hit super hard the last couple of days and it has been great to get some good ‘ol pow skiing in! Mostly been skiing Park City and the Canyons and had a great day at Alta as well. I ditched out of a pow day yesterday to get some rail work in, which was good to just keep on the ball.
The Open is coming up quickly. I am really wanting to use a right side 540 to start of my jump section of my run, but it is coming slower than I was expecting, so I may need t readjust accordingly over the next week or so. Either way though, I am feeling really confident with how I am skiing and I feel that I can put a good combination together and make a good showing. I am less concerned about my final result and more concernd about just skiing well for myself. I think it is nice to have my sponsors an film projects in place as I go into something like this. It definitely takes the pressure off a bit. My career doesn’t hinge on this one event. It can however make great progress with the sport of freeheel skiing by showing up and showing that I have worked hard and that there is the potential for a freeheel skier to do well in one of these major events. I really think that by next season, i’ll be in a better position with my spins and everything to put a possible X games run together…it will be a lot of hard work, but it is doable.
Other than that, just been swamped working on FHL stuff and making a stronger go at that. Looking forward to the trade shows and getting the word out there about the site.
